Chairman & CEO Muslim Lakhani was interviewed by America.gov in which he discussed his dedication to philanthropy. In the piece, he shared some of his life story, and how his upbringing and journey ignited his passion for giving. He told America.gov’s Scott Bartot, “Sometimes when we think that we are above everything, intellectually or wealthwise, we forget the reality on the ground, the heat of the street.”

In 2004, America.gov published another interview with Lakhani, then the co-chairman of the Arab Business Council, who talked about the need to listen to the “man on the street” in the Middle East, emphasizing, and “if the leaders don't find a way to bring them in now, they will be forced to later.” It seems we are now seeing this prediction come to life in the Middle East.
